The Norris Recreation Commission is excited to present our 6th Annual Norris Halloween Trail on Saturday, October 24th between 3:30PM and 6 PM. Children are invited to trick-or-treat along this wooded trail for some spooky (but not too spooky) fun!
This event is free, however all donations given at the event will benefit the Norris Recreation Commission.
All Halloween Trail participants that WILL BE TRICK-OR-TREATING should register for this event by selecting a time frame between 3:30PM and 5:40PM. Parents, guardians, or others attending the Event, but NOT receiving candy, do not need to register. This will ensure that we have sufficient candy, parking spots and that participants are spaced out to avoid crowding on the trail. Time frames are limited and sold out quickly last year, so be sure to reserve your tickets early. Children of all ages must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the trail.
TRAIL INFORMATION
This is a moderately wooded dirt trail located on a portion of the Norris Disc Golf Course. The terrain is moderately hilly with rocks and roots in places. It will be difficult, if not impossible for strollers or wheelchairs to access. All participants should wear appropriate shoes. Costumes that impede the ability to walk safely on the trail should be avoided. In the event of rain prior or during the event, the trail will become muddy. The trail can be casually completed in approximately 20 minutes. In addition, there is a โshortcutโ to reduce the length for younger participants.

Participants may park behind Norris Middle School, at Regions Bank, or at the Norris Community Building. The Trail can be accessed from NMS or Regions by a short walk up Deer Ridge Drive and making a left on Chestnut Drive. 20 Chestnut Drive is the closest address to the Trail. The entrance is at the Community Tennis Courts, NOT Eric Harold Park. Feel free to drop off your party at this address and join them after parking.
