Admission Rates for Groups of 15 or more: $10/student & $10/adult. For every 15 students, 1 staff/adult is admitted free of charge. If you have fewer than 15 in your party, group discount does not apply. Parties with fewer than 15 can purchase tickets at museumofappalachia.org.

The Museum of Appalachia invites students and families to step back in time enjoy the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of pioneer Southern Appalachian traditions and old-time demonstrations of the fall harvest season.
Demonstrations and activities include crosscut sawing, pumpkin carving, chair caning, blacksmithing, old-fashioned games, broommaking, rug hooking, spelling bees, wagon rides, sorghum making, basketmaking, dollmaking, beekeeping, and much more!
