Do you love taking pictures of plants, animals, and fungi in the great outdoors? Do you want to contribute to cool science research? Look no further than citizen science! Learn how to be a citizen scientist yourself and expand your nature knowledge at the same time!
All ages are invited to learn about various citizen science projects and apps such as iNaturalist, Seek, Merlin, and more. We’ll start in the library to install these apps on our devices, then move outside to take a short walk on the Norris Commons where we can try them out! All you need is a phone or mobile device that you can get apps and take pictures with.
